An induction motor or asynchronous motor is an AC electric motor in which the electric current in the rotor needed to produce torque is obtained by electromagnetic induction from the magnetic field of the stator winding.

The induction motor is different from DC motors, in that you don't need to supply current from an external source to the rotor nor do you need to use a permanent magnet in its construction. An induction motor can therefore be made without electrical connections to the rotor.

As reported, the Global Induction Motor Market major contains two kinds of type: Single Phase Induction Motor, Three Phase Induction Motor. These Induction Motors always be used in Engineering and manufacturing, Chemical, Agriculture, Transportation and Others.
